Description

This course provides an overall understanding of the world of narcotics. Beginning with Medical Marijuana Laws of Ohio and continuing to the basic understanding of drugs of abuse, this course will provide you the tools you need to understand current drug trends. You also will learn what to be aware of when you are in the field and how to stay safe, along with understanding and interpreting drug testing results.

Faculty Experience

Kevin Everhart is a retired Narcotics Detective of over 25 years. Mr. Everhart has gained a vast knowledge of street drugs and trends while working undercover, and later as the Assistant Task Force Commander of a Major Crimes Task Force. He’s spent the past 15 years in management for treatment providers, and is a Certified Breath Alcohol Instrument Instructor and a Certified Instructor for Federal DOT Urine Collections. Mr. Everhart has testified as an Expert Witness in numerous Child Protective Services, Probation and Drug Court cases along with Domestic Relation cases on the interpretation of drug test results throughout the state of Ohio. He carries a vast knowledge in the field of narcotics, drug testing and laboratory results interpretation.
