The Ohio CASA/GAL Association is honored to open registration for the 29th Annual Celebrate Kids! Conference. This guide contains links to online registration, workshop descriptions, hotel information and other conference details.
We are excited to welcome hundreds of CASA volunteers and staff, judges, attorneys and other child welfare advocates to #CKC24.

• $150 until September 1, 2024
• $200 from September 2 – September 11, 2024
• Registration closed September 12 – 24
• On-site registration open September 25 – 27 ($200)

Plenary Speaker 1: 8:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Workshops: 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Lunch + Awards Ceremony: 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

** Please note: Registration is available from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday. The first session begins at 1:45 p.m.

Hotel information:
If you are a director planning to pay for someone’s room, that person will need to bring a credit card authorization form when checking in. Access it by clicking here.
If needed, please bring these tax exemption forms when checking in:
Overflow Hotel Option: Ohio CASA has also secured a block of rooms with the Sonesta Columbus Downtown Hotel for overflow bookings. It is located across the street at 33 E. Nationwide Blvd.
Parking information:
If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency and/or if you need in and out privileges during the day, please park in the Chestnut Garage and your parking will be covered. Pull a ticket when you first park, then see the front desk when you check in for validation.
If you are attending the conference just for the day, there is daily/overflow parking available in the Convention Center South Garage next door to the hotel: 88 E. Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, OH 43215. If you park in the overflow lot, please visit the Conference Registration Table in the Taft Foyer (or see an Ohio CASA staff member) for a validation ticket. Please note that the South Garage does NOT have in/out privileges.

Attorney Scholarship Information:
Conference registration fees are waived for eligible, licensed attorneys who have served as a child’s GAL or counsel in an Ohio juvenile court in the past three years.
If you are interested in utilizing an attorney scholarship, please email a statement that asserts your eligibility to Megan Heydlauff, Ohio CASA Director of Attorney Services, at mheydlauff@ohiocasa.org prior to registering to receive the scholarship code.

Special Features at #CKC24
CASA Connect Hour: With the generous support of our sponsors, we will be hosting a CASA Connect Hour directly after workshops conclude on Thursday until 6:00 p.m. in the Regency Ballroom Foyer. Join us for complementary appetizers, a cash bar, live music, and a chance to build relationships. Connect with other volunteers and learn how CASA boards of directors operate to support local programs. All are invited and welcome!

Program directors can look for more details here and in emails leading up the conference. Awards Lunch: Join Ohio CASA, volunteers and supporters for a special plated lunch. This will be an inspiring afternoon where volunteers are honored and the CASA community comes together. All are welcome in the Regency Ballroom from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 26.

After hearing from local CASA program directors, Ohio CASA is happy to announce a new option available for our 2024 CASA SHOP. If you are interested in purchasing CASA SHOP Bucks for a friend, CASA volunteer, staff member or yourself, visit our CASA SHOP Bucks landing page. These “vouchers” can be redeemed at the 2024 CASA SHOP.
