The Ohio CASA/GAL Association is excited and honored to welcome hundreds of CASA volunteers and staff members, judges, attorneys, and other child welfare advocates to the 2025 Celebrate Kids! Conference: 30 YEARS OF IMPACT.

We hope you will join us for three days of learning and connection as we strive to best serve Ohio children.

$150 until September 1, 2025
$200 from September 2 – 12, 2025
Registration closed September 12 – 23
On-site registration open September 24 – 26 ($200)

Registration: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.*
Workshops: 1:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (There will be a 15-minute break during this session)

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
Registration: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.
Workshops: 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Workshops: 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Lunch + Awards Ceremony: 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Workshops: 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Snack break: 3:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Plenary Speaker: 3:15 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
CASA Connect Hour: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.
Plenary Speaker 2: 8:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Workshops: 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Snacks + Raffle: 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

* Please note: Registration is available from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday. The first session begins at 1:45 p.m.

Hotel Forms:

If you are a director planning to pay for someone’s room, that person will need to bring a credit card authorization form when checking in. Access it by clicking here.

Parking information:

If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency: Please park in the Chestnut Garage and your parking will be included. Let the front desk know you drove and are parking in the Chestnut Garage when checking in. The Chestnut Garage is for Hyatt Regency overnight hotel guests only.

The Chestnut Garage is located at 44 E. Chestnut Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

If you are attending the conference for the day: Park in the Convention Center South Garage, please visit the CASA Shop in the Garfield Room or the registration desk for a validation ticket. Please note that the South Garage does NOT have in/out privileges.

The South Garage address is located at 88 E. Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43215.

No refunds or reimbursement will be given if you park in the wrong garage.

Group Payment Form: If you are paying for a group of attendees, please use this form. It can be emailed or mailed to Ohio CASA.

Scholarship Opportunities
All scholarship opportunities waive the $150 registration fee and provide:

  • Up to 12 hours of Sup.R. 48, Continuing Legal Education, and Continuing Professional Education for Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapist credit
  • Selected courses approved for attorney professional conduct and Continuing Professional Education Ethics credit
  • Thursday and Friday breakfast; Thursday lunch; and snacks and beverages throughout the event.
  • Free parking at designated lots
  • Does not include the overnight cost of Hyatt hotel rooms; however, Ohio CASA has secured a discounted room rate of $150 per night, including tax, for all conference attendees

Attorney Scholarship – Licensed attorneys who have served as a child’s GAL or counsel in Ohio juvenile court, or as counsel for a public children services agency in the past three years, may be eligible for an attorney scholarship. Caseworker Scholarship – Public children services agency caseworkers may be eligible for a caseworker scholarship. Interested PCSA caseworkers can contact Kristin Gilbert, [email protected].

Judicial Scholarship – If a judge has awarded you a judicial scholarship, you must register online for the conference and make workshop selections. Contact Kristin Gilbert, [email protected].
